| NS32 - 10 miles (Thurso) |
Start on A9 50 yards east of "Welcome to Thurso" sign on south side of Thurso,
continue on A9/A882 for 5.071 miles. Turn 26 yards past the "Wick 15 Miles"
sign. Retrace to finish 400 yards short of start. |
| NS7 - 25 miles (Thurso) |
Start on A9 50 yards east of "Welcome to Thurso" sign on south side of Thurso,
continue on A9/A882 through Watten to turn 1 mile east of Watten village.
Retrace to finish 400 yards short of start. |

24 mile Hilly Circuit (Loch Calder) |
Start at lamppost opposite the Electrical
Substation at Thurso Technical College. Proceed toward Reay, taking the
first left turn to Halkirk (1mile). Proceed toward Halkirk taking the first
right at Glengolly (1/2 mile). Go straight ahead for 3 miles and right turn
at Achavarn (1/2 mile before the T Junction). Proceed to the junction at
Bridge of Westfield (4 miles) - beware of the "Z" bend 1 mile before the
junction. Turn right and proceed to the Halkirk turn, turning right and
repeating the circuit a second time. On the second lap go straight past the
Halkirk turnoff and finish opposite the Start. |

Start at the BT entrance on the Dounreay road
and finishing at the top of the hill. |

Start, Thurso (A9) 30 MPH sign, just past
Park Hotel , proceed to Watten (A9/A882), turn left onto B870, cross B874
(right/left), and continue on B870 to junction with B876 (Wick/Castletown
road). Turn left on B876 and continue to Castletown. Turn left onto A836
toward Thurso and finish at the 50 MPH sign near the community centre at
Murkle (2.5 miles) |
